Psalm 141:2 (as sung)

'Let my prayer rise like incense before you.
And the lifting up of my hands like an evening sacrifice.'

Lord so many are suffering as we enter this great time of prayer and fasting, whether it be from; pain & illness, finances, family & friends, loss of employment, etc. Whatever it is Lord let us remember and focus on the lifting of our hands to you Lord God, our Creator, that they are your hands. That they become a sweet arouma before you as we raise them towards heaven, in our deepest and darkest times, seeking strength and your divine help. May we recall the three young men in the firey furnace, no flames can touch us, they serve only to draw us nearer to our goal which is to be with you Christ Jesus for all eternity. Let my prayer rise like incense before you. Grant us peace in our day Jesus. Amen.

15
Be ready now to fall down and worship the statue I had made, whenever you hear the sound of the trumpet, flute, lyre, harp, psaltery, bagpipe, and all the other musical instruments; otherwise, you shall be instantly cast into the white-hot furnace; and who is the God that can deliver you out of my hands?"
16
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered King Nebuchadnezzar, "There is no need for us to defend ourselves before you in this matter.
17
5 If our God, whom we serve, can save us from the white-hot furnace and from your hands, O king, may he save us!
18
But even if he will not, know, O king, that we will not serve your god or worship the golden statue which you set up."
