Dear Friends,

In addition to a number of icons of Saints, including Our Lady of Walsingham and Our Lady of Glastonbury, there is also an icon of King Charles the Martyr (rather beautiful!):

They also have for sale the devotions of Lancelot Andrewes, a copy of which Cardinal Newman used throughout his life and kept a copy by his bedside.

And the four volume set of John Mason Neale's Commentary on the Psalms in which he borrowed much from the Eastern tradition.

Gems all around for Western Rite Orthodox, Anglican Use Catholics, Anglo-Catholics and people who are just interested.

Yes - the Commentary on the Psalms by John M. Neale and also the Private Devotions of Lancelot Andrewes.

Both are also popular with Western Rite Orthodox.

Apologies to Bob for posting this on the wrong forum!

Neale's Commentary on the Psalms was praised highly by Orthodox theologian Vladimir Lossky - it is really fabulous and relies heavily on the Eastern Fathers.

A Benedictine Western-Rite Orthodox monastery is being established in Hamilton, Ontario that use the Andrewes Press Monastic Diurnal.

And the OCA priest there, on his mother's side, is actually a direct descendant of Lancelot Andrewes's family!

And the Private Devotions, which I have not read, are those which Cardinal Newman and others of his movement always used and kept by their bedsides.

The icon section also reflects the English heritage.
