Dear Brethren,

Please join me in immediate prayer for our fellow poster: Communion of Saints.

Besides her intense back pain which has spread throughout the whole lower area, she has just fallen very ill--with something that could be very dangerous and has left her extremely weak.

I am very worried about her because she also lives alone, and she is in a condition in which she cannot get around now.

Pray for her health, for recovery, and for her job.

May our Lord Jesus have mercy on her in this desperate situation...she is a faithful and good servant of God and despite her lack of posting (except in Prayer), she has been on this forum for many years, and she is a kind forum friend to many.

In Christ our Hope,
Alice

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

O Lord our God, Who by a word alone did heal all diseases, Who did cure the kinswoman of Peter, You Who chastise with pity and heal according to Your goodness; Who are able to put aside every sickness and infirmity, do You Yourself, the same Lord, grant aid to Your servant CS and cure her of every sickness of which she is grieved; and send down upon her Your great mercy, and if it be Your will, give to her health and a complete recovery; for You are the Physician of our souls and bodies, and to You do we send up Glory: to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Both now and forever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory Abba Father!

O Sweet Theotokos, spread your mantle of compassion and comfort on our friend.

May the wondrous healing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ move through her -- body, mind, and spirit.

My prayers too and I can understand how very serious her condition is especially in this heat wave which is to last into next week.

Through the prayers of the Theotokos, O Savior, save her.

Alice, the weather is in the triple digits here in California with power failures.

My prayers that she may be able to communicate with us.

As posted on spiritdaily.com today..Make it so Jesus!

"Grant to your servants, even as they speak Your words, complete assurance by stretching forth Your Hand in cures and signs and wonders to be worked in the Name of Jesus, Your holy servant," was the prayer of the apostles.

Through their hands, says Acts 5:12, "many signs and wonders occurred among the people."

I am going to be FINE, I am sure.
Thank you all ever so much for your wondrous, generous prayers. It was a difficult week for me but I am most definitely on the mend, checked out OK by the doctor. I was even able to drive around with no difficulty.
Again, I kept wondering at how much better I was starting to feel today and I am ever so grateful for your prayers!

PS although I am still dealing with this back pain, I am grateful that everything else checked out OK.
Again thank you for your prayers.
