Since I'm stationed in the Antipodes, I might as well be the first to wish one and all Christ's blessing on the feast of his Nativity. (I'm just about to run and chant/serve Vespers of the feast. Some on the East Coast are still finishing 23 December, I presume!)

Troparion of the feast: "Your Nativity, O Christ our God, has shed the light of knowledge upon the world. Through it, those who had been star-worshippers learned through a star to worship you, O Sun of Justice, and recognise in you the One who rises from on high! O Lord, glory to you!"
