Hi:

Does anyone on this forum go to "Epiphany of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church" in Annandale Virginia?

Einar,

Yes, I am a member of Epiphany BCC in Annandale, VA. How can I help you?

Hi Jack:

I will be in Fairfax to visit my daughter the next coming week and will more than likely be coming to Divine Liturgy at your parish. I am a member of St. Nicholas UGCC here in Raleigh NC and I was just wondering what to expect. Anything I experience at Divine Liturgy at my parish should be the same at yours?

Einar,
Yes, you will find things mostly the same at Epiphany as at your parish in Raleigh, but it will be the Ruthenian RDL English translation and Plain Chant singing of the Carpathian Mountains.

Depending on exactly what days you'll be in Fairfax, the schedule for next weekend is:

Friday evening -- Lenten Dinner 5-7pm, Presanctifield Liturgy 7:30pm
Saturday morning -- Divine Liturgy 10am, Lazarus Saturday
Sunday morning -- Divine Liturgy at 8am and 10:30, Palm Sunday

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello Jack:

Thanks for the info. I will be at your church Sunday for Divine Liturgy. I'm not sure if it will be the one at 8 or 10:30. Will have to see how things work out.

I'm looking forward to meeting you. Will you be at both Divine Liturgies?

Einar,
I expect to attend the 10:30 liturgy, so afterward, identify yourself to me if you attend that one. It might be a bit hectic being Palm Sunday with palsm and pussy willows being distributed!

There has been a change in plans so I will not make it out to your parish this coming Sunday. I aplogize.
