Thank you, Father David.
St John's in Rahway, as memory serves me, is the parish which has an incredible collection of links on its website (not sure if they created it, or it's a shared resource, but it has always been quite impressive).
Many years,
Neil

I was the last ROCOR priest to serve St Spyridon's. Wow! I grew up in Fords, N.J. Our house was bordered, in the back, by St. Spyridon's cemetery. I remember, as a kid, watching panakhyda being served at gravesites during Pascha. Some of my "friends" , after everybody left, would go into the cemetery and steal the pysanky eggs which were left by the graves (I would never do that). I did not know that they went to OCA. What brought that about? Christ is Risen! Dn. Robert

What brought that about? Christ is Risen! Dn. Robert Dear Deacon Robert, Truly He is risen! St Spyridon's parish was not really interested in having a pastor. They wanted a priest to serve Sunday Liturgy, the services at the end of Holy Week, St Spyridon's Day, and "Russian Christmas". They paid this priest less than a priest would ordinarily get for supply work. I wanted a normal parish life: Vigils, Holy Days, people going to Confession and Holy Communion. I had been sent by my Bishop to St Spyridon's as an interim priest "just for Great Lent until Pascha", while also starting a Mission in the place where I lived. I served both communities well past Pascha because there was no one to replace me. St Spyridon's was unwilling to share me with the Mission. They wanted a priest every Sunday morning. I could not sacrifice the Mission. The Bishop had no one else to send. They got an immigrant priest from the OCA who would do what they said and be content. Fr David Straut

As far as I know, those are the only cases of ACROD-->ROCOR movement, at least on any noticeable scale. Dave, What about OCA-->ACROD or vice-versa? Many years, Neil I understand St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport, CT (Mill Hill) had gone ACROD > OCA only to return to ACROD...I also believe St. John the Baptist, Stratford, CT (Broadbridge Ave) had gone from ACROD > UOC only to ultimately return to ACROD as well.

Wow, I guess this jurisdiction hopping stuff ahppens all the time (at least with the ROCOR and OCA)? It would seem a little embarrasing for a parish to jump ship to one jurisdiction and then, several years later, jump back.
Of course I remember an Orthodox priest once tellign me that some parishes used to transfer around so much that it wouldn' suprise him if there weren't a few who were, at one time, under the Synagogue Council of America! It must be remembered that most of this happened during a period in time when the Church Abroad was largely in a state of self imposed isolation from the rest of the canonical Orthodox churches. During the 70's and 80's in particular the calendar wars were in full swing and ROCOR's relations with the other Orthodox churches (the Serbians the Jerusalem Patriarchate excepted) ranged from extremely strained to non-existent. Happily the schism between them and the Moscow Patriarchate has been healed (solid proof of miracles in the modern world). With the healing of that sad schism ROCOR is in full and normal communion with all of the world's canonical Orthodox churches. The only jurisdiction hopping I have heard of in recent years has been a very small number of ROCOR parishes who could not bear reunion with Moscow and defected to one or another of the various "True Orthodox" Old Calendarist groups. In ICXC John
