I find it interesting that Microsoft will be bowing to pressure and exclude Internet Explorer from the European release of Windows 7 when it is final later this year. If this is extended to all releases of the operating system besides just the European version, could it be the death nail for Internet Explorer? I am wondering also how updates for the operating system will be had, since Microsoft has always been insistent on IE being installed to download the Windows updates. One final question that comes to mind, how does one then get the browser of one's choice without an internet browser to start with? BBC Technology story [ news.bbc.co.uk] In IC XC, Father Anthony+

I wonder how many users will install IE? I use IE 7 and have not tried IE 8 yet. I am waiting a bit to see if any problems show up with it. My experience with IE has been good, so I have no real reason to change.

Charles,
I have not found an Internet Browser that I would say I love. They each have their pluses and minuses. I have IE 8 on my netbook, and I have to say it is an improvement over version 7. I had tried Firefox and Opera, but have to say that my work server did not like them. Instead of having multiple browsers, I decided to stick with one. The same would apply to my Macs, one browser only that can access the most of what I use the internet for.
