The Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church is part of the Eastern Christian tradition. The Ukrainian Greek-Catholic cathedral in London is called the
Cathedral of the Holy Family in Exile [
cerkva.org.uk].
There are icons showing the flight of the Holy Family into Egypt, so the concept of the Holy Family of our Lord, His Mother and the Holy and Righteous Joseph the Betrothed does exist in the East, though perhaps not quite in the same way as in the West. It seems the focus is on the flight into Egypt.
