Moscow Metro hit by deadly suicide bombings Commuter Alan Broach: "There was a lot of fear and concern around" At least 38 people have been killed after two female suicide bombers blew themselves up on Moscow Metro trains in the morning rush hour, officials say. Twenty-four died in the first blast at 0756 (0356 GMT) as a train stood at the central Lubyanka station, beneath the offices of the FSB intelligence agency. About 40 minutes later, a second explosion ripped through a train at Park Kultury, leaving another 14 dead. The FSB said it was likely a group from the North Caucasus was responsible. Detonating two bombs in a subway below the headquarters of the FSB...I am worried about the innocent who are close to the organizers of this attack.

What is incredible is not only do these people have no respect for the lives of others, but they have no respect, or a very misplaced and twisted respect, for their own lives, which were given to them by God. How disturbing. May the Mother of God intercede for the victims and their families.

Check out the Koran and the interpretations of it held by so many Moslems. It apparently permits revenge killings and it permits--and some would argue demands--killings of those deemed infidels, which the Russians would be in their minds. Remember that there are two areas of the world for the Moslem: the place where Islamic law already prevails and the rest of the world, the battleground for making Allah's will for all to be Moslem happen. Martyrs for the battle against infidels get a free pass against any and all sin when they die.
How one overcomes this mindset is beyond me.
