Christ is risen!
A friend of mine knows a woman who said she had been in the tomb of Jesus in Kashemira, whose stone increase in size every year. What is to be said?

The problem is: did that people invented that? So could the Hebrew people invented the Gospel?

If the Hebrew people had invented the Gospel, why would they have written the Gospel in Greek?

If the Hebrew people had invented the Gospel, why would they have written the Gospel in Greek? The Apostles spoke Aramaic, but the Gospel was written in Greek. But I don't think it's a circumstantial evidence against its authenticity.

The Apostles must have known at least a bit of Greek, and some might have known quite a lot. Paul, growing up in Tarsus, a Greek-speaking city, showed a considerable degree of fluency not only in the language but in the various methods of Greek rhetoric. Matthew, as a customs official, would have had to know both Aramaic and Greek, since both were languages of commerce (he probably knew some form of tachygraphia, too). Jesus himself shows some understanding of Greek and uses both Greek metaphors as well as technical terms from Hellenistic culture (e.g., "hypocrite" from Greek theater) that refute attempts to portray him as a country bumpkin.

Philippe,
Hindus and New Agers have claimed for years that Jesus studied with Indian Masters during the "silent years" between age 12 and 30. This is impossible in view of the exclusive Messianic mission of Israel, as expressed by Jesus himself: "Salvation is from the Jews." He had nothing to learn from Indian gurus.

Philippe,
I know that the Hindu show something they call "tomb of Jesus" to the tourists, so the woman you were talking with didn't made this up. But it can't be the real tomb of Jesus, because it is contrary to the Scripture, the Revelation and the Tradition.
