His Eminence, Metropolitan Basil, has appointed Fr. Damon Geiger the new permanent resident administrator of St. Basil the Great parish, in Irving, Tx. The appointment became effective on Friday, Feb. 19 and last weekend was Fr. Damon's first Sunday as administrator with us.

Prayers requested for Fr. Stephen Muth, whose health problems prevented him from taking this assignment.

St. Basil is a very lucky parish. Fr. Damon is a prayerful man and a wonderful priest.

Prayers for Father Damon in his assignment and prayers for Father Stephen, that he be restored to health.

I'm happy you guys have resident pastor now. We have also been blessed here in Lawton, OK; Fr. Philip was transferred to Holy Family. On a very sad note, Fr. Larkin, the previous pastor has terminal cancer; he needs your prayers for a safe journey home.

Prayers for the Lord's servant, Father Larkin, that his journey to a place where there are neither tears nor sighing, but only life everlasting, be free of pain and suffering.
