A Melkite lady from Bethlehem,
Haifa Abu-Sada (Matarweh), employee of the Greek Catholic Patriarcate School in Beit Sahour and niece of his founder, Bishop Gabriel Abu-Sada, is asking help for the school. Almost half of the students can not pay anymore the tuition fee, because of the bad economic situation in the local.

Please, help if you could, particularly by "adopting" a child if possible (i.e. sustenaining his academic year), or divulge around. And pray for them.

It follows the Recommendation letter of the responsable priest.

If I may, I should like to add my voice to this request. It is essential to keep these schools at work, or the remaining Greek-Catholics in the Holy Land will inevitably conclude that they must leave, and move somewhere where their children can have a proper Christian education.

Thank you very much, Arch. Serge!

But unfortunately being this post in "Town Hall" it does not help much.

I would like also to add an advertising about olive wood items, like rosaries, crosses, key keepers, presepes, made by Holy Land christians. The sheets with the products you can find in my blog:
