Ran across these by accident and I haven't had time to go thru them in detail and find out what they are all about. but there is some interesting material and photos.

The first linked to the second. There is some connection between them, but the second seems to require membership to fully explore and there is a suggestion that it is by 'invite', but not entirely clear on the details of that.

Figured I'd post the links and that, given the level of curiousity here, someone among us will delve into them and report back.

On the first site, there is a citation from “Conversations with Patriarch Bartholomew” by Olivier Clement, regarding the eastern spirit of oecumenae “Moving beyond polemics, we need to reflect on a period of ecclesial life in which tensions were resolved not against the pope or against the councils, but in a different way”.

I looked through few pages of the site but, unfortunately, failed to find references to church leader's or council's blessing to this orthodox female monastic initiative in the West.
