I watched the first program last night - EWTN billed it as a half-hour program, but in fact it lasted only 15 minutes. That was not the first time that EWTN has done such things.

An interview with a Ukrainian Greek Catholic monk on "The Journey Home" was one of the greatest "Eastern" programs on EWTN that I ever saw. His monastery is somewhere up in Canada, but his life journey spoke very much to me. And, I was also very impressed by the amount of peace he seemed to have and exude. Despite his very colorful journey to God, God seems to have really touched him and transformed him since he gave his life to God. The interview inspired me (and still inspires me) to be a better man and a better Eastern Christian. I wish I could remember the monk's name, but it almost doesn't matter. The truth of Jesus Christ's action in his life was universal.

I remember that program. I cannot remember the priest's name, either, but it was an incredible story - on a par with Father Corapi, to be sure.

Fr Terry Krychek(sp) is the priest you are referring to.

Ok I tried to find it. Here is a link from here where we were discussing him.

I can't seem to find at EWTN maybe someone else can on EWTN archives for videos. Well worth watching.

Thank you, Pani Rose. I think I found the current location of audio file of the interview with Fr. Terry Kraychuk:

http://www.ewtn.com/vondemand/audio/seriessearchprog.asp?pgnu=4&SeriesID=-6892289 (interview number 103)

However, I cannot get my computer to play that file. It doesn't recognize a ".ra" file. Is it "Real Audio" and neds the "Real" player ?

My wife always uses Real Player when she listens to any downloaded file from EWTN. You can get Real Player for free.

If this helps at all - the Friday program was not produced by EWTN. It came from Aid to the Church in Need, and may have originally been intended for a European audience. Not all of their programs are an hour or a half hour in length.

Is everything archived on EWTN? Can I (or will I be able to) see these programs via the Internet?

There are a great many archived. Just go to the program you are looking for then look for the link to the archives for that program.
