I am currently on mid-tour leave from Afghanistan and would love the opportunity to attend an EC liturgy while I am in Ireland. My wife, after considerable reconnaissance, believes she found the UGCC parish in Dublin, but could not find a schedule for services. The webpage for that particular parish was a little confusing. I tried to PM Father Serge, but he is over his limit for private messages.
Any suggestions? I have two weeks left and we are certainly willing to adjust our schedule to allow attendance at one or more services.
Thank you and God bless!
Ed

Ed, You indeed found the website, I'm sure, because there is only one and I'm going to agree with you that it is confusing. (I happened to look at it yesterday, for the first time since it was revamped and also found it to be so.) See the parish's Directory Entry here - but, I offer one caution. From the website I had an impression that the parish has relocated and I was about to e-mail Father Serge to either verify or disabuse myself of that thought. I'll do so and try to let you know ASAP. May God bless you for your service. Many years, Neil

Thank you, Anhelyna
Glasnevin is a section of Dublin and looks to be about right from what I could glean from the Google map on the website. It seems to place the locale at or near Holy Cross College and the Archbishop's residence, which are situated thereabout. Will wait for your definitive info for Ed and then update the Directory as well.
Many years,
Neil

Sunday Divine Liturgy is indeed at 10 AM. These days, we're serving at Holy Cross, Clonliffe. If you need more exact directions on the property, ring Declan Sheey. Happy hunting - look forward to seeing you.

Declan's phone number? Try information. Come to think of it, one could also ask Bishop Hlib.

Father - you aren't listening to me !
I don't NEED the information -
NorseRuthenian is the one looking for information - he's on leave from Afghanistan and wants to attend Liturgy if at all possible in your Church in the next couple of weeks

Edward (the Norse Ruthenian) made it with his wife to the Divine Liturgy this morning, and did not mention having had any trouble finding us. All went well; they're nice people.

Fr. Serge,
When did you move from St. Kevin's Oratory, and why?

We moved from St. Kevin's Oratory to Clonliffe this past summer, to enable us to have Divine Liturgy on Sunday morning (the congregation has doubled as a result), be able to erect the Iconostasis and keep it that way, and similar considerations. The only problem is - surprise! - that the Latins don't like having us around, even though the church is otherwise unused on Sunday morning. Come visit us!
