At the Liturgy of the Pre-Sanctified Gifts I attended at a local Byzantine Catholic Church. We used the new translation put out in 2009 by the Byzantine Seminary Press in a purple cover. When I go to the Byzantine Seminary Press website I cannot find it for order. Why is that?.

Well, they were initially orderable from the website of the Eparchy of Parma (which arranged for the printing, I believe), but that source now directs you to contact the Byzantine Seminary Press.

I think the literal answer to your question is probably, "Because the website is out of date." Give Kathy a call at (412) 322-8307, and she can probably tell you more.

Thanks!. I may just reference an Orthodox publication. Since they are easier to get a hold of.

Christ the Savior Seminary Bookstore in Johnstown may still have the ACROD PreSanctified Liturgy books available.

The Byzantine Seminary Press has people's books for the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts - $6.00 for the book with complete music, and $5.00 for the book with music for the fixed parts of the service and text-only for the changeable parts.

You can order over the phone with a credit card.
