Having first served as an Anglican priest for 8 years across the West Indies, Canada, and the UK, I entered the Catholic Church in 2005.
With a wife of Ukrainian extraction and German grandparents of my own that fled Ukraine in 1929, together with the fact that both our spiritual and theological formation was heavily Eastward oriented, we had our already-baptised children chrismated and our ascription changed to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
Now, finally, after a long process of prayer and waiting, I have just been ordained deacon, with a view to being priested in due course.
