During the month of November (1-8-15-22-29), St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church (3455 California Avenue, Pittsburgh, 15212) will be offering on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. a class entitled “The Eastern Catholic Churches in Pittsburgh”. Often visitors to our city comment on the beautiful skyline of Pittsburgh that includes golden domes. These “golden domes” are the spiritual homes of many Eastern Christians who preserve centuries old eastern liturgical, devotional and theological traditions. But do we know them? In order to answer this and many other questions, priests of these particular churches present in our city of Pittsburgh will lead these classes for us to enrich our knowledge. Below is the schedule of these classes. For more information and directions please call 412-766-8801 or visit our website: www.saintgeorgepittsburgh.org. [saintgeorgepittsburgh.org.] Plan to come and learn more!

Tuesday, November 1 7:00 p.m. The Eastern Catholic Churches (Fr. Valerian)
Tuesday, November 8 7:00 p.m. Ukrainian Catholic Church (Subdeacon Andriy)
Tuesday, November 15 7:00 p.m. Byzantine Catholic Church (Fr. Frank Firko)
Tuesday, November 22 7:00 p.m. Romanian Catholic Church (Fr. Paul Voida)
Tuesday, November 29 7:00 p.m. Maronite Catholic Church (Fr. Rodolph Wakim)

Bless, Father,

What a great idea! So very few of our peoples know much more about their Eastern brethren than do their Latin counterparts! I'm very impressed, Father.

Many years,

Neil
