Many Years to the parishioners of St. Mary's Protectoress Orthodox Church of Merrillville IN (OCA) which recently celebrated its centennial. Founded in 1911 in Gary IN by Carpatho-Rusyns when the steel industry was booming there, it relocated to Merrillville in 2000. It is now a multi-ethnic parish, having merged with St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Church in 2010.

Congratulations to and may God grant many years to the faithful and clergy of St Mary Protectoress Church!
