Wondering if anyone can identify the subject of this icon. It's a terrible quality picture from my camera phone through the window of a pawn shop. There are three figures. The one on the left appears to be wearing a phelonion. The one in the center is bowing and the other two are holding a cloth over him. There's an inscription, but I couldn't read it. Will go back tomorrow for a closer look.

Can you post the script on the top of the icon. The Icon appears to be Russian but I cannot make out the script.

Unfortunately, I don't have anything better than what I've already posted. I couldn't get close enough to transcribe the writing and my camera isn't very good. Will try to get back there next week when the owner is there and get him to pull it out from the window display for me so I can get a still closer photo and a transcription.

This is digitally blown up, but given the loss of sharpness, I'm not sure that it's any easier to read.

I guess it's a ordination of a deacon. We see a young man with the red orarion on a shoulder, who bows to the Throne on It's corner. here [commons.wikimedia.org]
"a cloth over him" is a vozduch (in Church Slavic)- a wimple which is used during the Liturgy. Interesting to know how it's called in English? If we could see the inscription...
