Hi, people!
I'm brazilian, 18 years old and melkite. Recently, I've become acolyte in my exarchy (without ordination) and, in a predominant mode because of that, I have been turned myself in more zealous of liturgy. Then, would you have some melkite liturgy guide?

If memory serves me correctly, you use Portuguese in Brazil. So I suggest writing to Domus Pacis, Fatima, Portugal, and asking them to send you a copy of the Divine Liturgy in Portuguese - they have it.

Laka, Thank you for answering! Oh, I'm happy of finding a brother in altar service! Could you describe what you do in liturgy? This is what I want to know. And why I don't ask for my hierarchy? Because, despite of beeing wonderful in a general sense, I suspect they miss some things, as I really know some omissions of traditions. The principal reason is the pastoral dificulty: the arabian community evanescenced. Fortunately, however, we are having a kind of renewal with the latins "costumers" (what is the ideal term?), and, precisely to strengh it, I want to know more about the liturgy walkthrough. Fr. Serge, I could be in English or in French.  A curiosity: which rite you belong to? May God bless you both!

To answer your first question, there are lots of materials available in English and in French. Which would you prefer?

I meant to mention to you earlier that I had the opportunity, 2 years ago, of meeting Archbishop Fares, when he traveled to Boston for the enthronement of our new Archeparch. All who met him found him to be a very personable and humble individual, as well as very spiritual, and his sense of humor was remarkable. It was my pleasure to transport him during much of his visit here.
