Barton, Ohio is about as close to imagining what 'kraju' was like. Nice video.


By the way, do any of you 'kantors', BCC or OCA sing Tone 4 Carpatho-Rusyn Tropar with the variation used here? I know that it is common in much of ACROD.

It used to bug my late father like fingernails scratching on a chalkboard whenever he heard it like that! Not the way I learned....

Yes, very nice video. It reminds me so much of what my old Ruthenian parish in Arizona sounded like. I love the congregational singing.

Do you know if they recorded the rest of the Liturgy? I'd love to see that part too.
