The two weeks of intense study at St. Cyril & Methodius Seminary is over for this year. It was a wonderful time of renewing frienships and learning. All of the men were excited to learn that next year we will begin practicum.

Here is the current class of deacon candidates:

On the bottom row: Sister Margaret Ann Andrako, Father Jason DelVitto (His class is my favorite!), the seminary rector, Fr. John Petro, and Dr. Sandra Collins, teacher of the scriptures and a remarkable teacher at that!

Five men did not return from last year. Please keep us in your prayers as we strive to advance. The devil hates us, as you may well know!

Brother Ed, good stuff. Will keep you, and those accompanying you, in my prayer(s). Best of luck, as you progress further :).

You special deacon candidates are in my prayers. May you burn with zeal inspired by the Holy Spirit!

AMEN!

Pani Rose

shush! Propbaly shouldn't say this, but I rather enjoyed packing my husband up, and shipping him off for two weeks. My daughter and I could always find something to fix and change up, ie. Tearing down wall paper, painting house. Boy would he fuss! smile loved it!

*sigh*

It has something to do with that extra X chromosome.

I left my keys with my then girlfriend to feed my cat <mumble> years ago, and came back to find my furniture rearranged . . .

anyway, our diaconal candidate is in the Ukranian seminary rather than C&M. they go for several long weekends rather than the two weeks.

Well Fr Dn, it would be better to ask Fr James, aka Slavophile. He is in charge of it here in the UK.
