I received the following as part of an email this morning concerning my Father in Law:

"Well we had a nice visit with the surgeon. Dad is scheduled for next Wed Aug.8th for the Hosp.. They want him there if he needs to stay over. From my understanding of the anatomy he showed us dad is missing a buffer area between skull and brain..."

It sounds like a delicate operation without going into more complicated details. Please keep him in your prayers.

Prayers to the holy heavenly Physicians, St. Panteleimon and St. Nektarios, to watch over Jack and to help guide the hands of the surgeons, interceding to Almighty and merciful God for a good outcome.

Thank you all. I know that he is very nervous going into this, and it seems that my Mother in-Law is calm as a cucumber (she's a school nurse); two totally different outlooks.

I'll keep you posted.

Looks like the operation went well--not even an overnight stay. Glory to Jesus Christ!

Prayers of gratitude for Jack's successful operative course and prayers that he will do just as well postoperatively.
