Just FYI, I had a first-hand look at the new English version of the takso today. I must say, it's very nice. Now I have to 'work on" Mor Gregory to get me a copy of that plus (and fare more importantly) the full Syriac text.
BTW, one thing struck me as a little odd. As I was looking through the Second ("Public") Service, I didn't seem to notice the opening doxology (shoubho labo ...) and continuation (w-'layn mheelé ou hatoyé ...) anywhere. Is that a misprint or was it taken out for some strange reason?
If I have the chance to see it again (or if I can get a copies of my own) I'll be able to look at it more depth and see if my impression was mistaken (which it probably was).
