This is extremely depressing, especially for those of us who are Levantine, at least by background, but it's not news. Those "rebels" (and many, if not most, of them aren't even Syrians, BTW) have been doing this for the better part of two years. The sad part is, the press (particularly the American press) doesn't bother to report it, just as they don't often report the same things in Iraq. Why should they? It's "only" native Christians who are being targeted. shocked mad
