Today is a feast of the Life-Giving Cross, with the minor Blessing of Water, that of the All-Merciful Saviour and the Theotokos, and of the Holy Maccabbees, their mother Solomonia and their elder, Eleazar (New Calendar).

By the time you finish chanting all the prescribed services, this day will be over before you know it! wink

Also the Blessing of the New Honey, which I did a couple of times on the first Sunday in August since the congregation included some beekeepers.
