Question:

What is the epistle book used in Ukrainian Catholic parishes (in English)?

The parishes in my area use the one published in 1976 by Byzantine Seminary Press, entitled The Epistles and Old Testament Readings for the Liturgical Year. It uses the New American Bible translation, which isn't the most eloquent or accurate of translations. As far as I can tell, this book is now out of print, and is relatively difficulty to obtain.

Are there newer epistle books available, perhaps with better translations? What is used in other UGCC parishes (again, in English)?

Thank you in advance.

If you go on the Philadelphia cathedral's website, you will see Byzantine church supplies website. I know Myroslava sells it and you can call to see how much it is. The one she sells is the one my parish uses.

The Alleluia Press Epistle Book compiled by Archbishop Joseph Raya uses the Confraternity Version corrected to the Byzantine text.
