In the "Byzantine Book of Prayer" published in collaboration by Byzantine Seminary Press and Alleluia Press, I found a Moleben to Jesus, the Lover of Mankind. Doing a search on this forum, I found not only that this was a translation and rewriting of a Moleben to the Sacred Heart written by Fr. Isidore Dolnitsky back in the day, but that there is an Akathist to Christ, the Lover of Mankind, which itself is also a translation and rewriting of Akathist to the Sacred Heart, also written by Dolnistky ("Akathistnyk," published at Lviv in 1893). In the library, I found an old devotional Ukrainian prayer book ("We magnify Thee"), which has an English translation of the Moleben to the Sacred Heart.

Doing an internet search, I found two devotional Akathists of original compositions dedicated to the Lover of Mankind.

Is there an English translation of Dolnitsky's Akathist to the Sacred Heart or the later rewritten Akathist to the Lover of Mankind? If so, can anybody share the prayers?

Thanks.

Hi, this is what I found:
https://akathisthymns.wordpress.com/jesus-mankind/
It looks complete to me, with all the repetitions included and the closing prayer.

Thanks Ecaterina. This one you found is a beautiful Akathist, which I have used to pray. However, it is a personal composition of the blogger.

Thanks for the help.
