Hello all!
I was wondering if anyone on this forum could help me with the history of my family's church, Saint Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church in McAdoo, PA. This was both my paternal and maternal grandparent's church; however, I grew up out of the area and have only attended this parish a few times in my life. I know they have a history of being a very 'Latinized' parish, and I think they've rebuilt the building a few times if I am not mistaken, so I am sure it is interesting. I am a cradle Byzantine Catholic, and doing a project for one of my General Ed. classes that happens to be about religion. I'd love to include specific information about my families 'parish roots' so anything will help! Thank you! (I am new to the forum, so if this is not the proper location for this post, please tell me and I will happily re-post)

Bob,
Yes, thank you! I have already been exploring some of the links on this website and found a lot of great information on our faith and traditions! I'm glad I found this site...its very informative & I will definitely be including the things I've found in my project. Sadly though, I cannot find any sort of information about Saint Michael's on the Internet, aside from a few pictures. I'm hoping someone one this forum is a member there or at least knows something and would be willing to share!
