My family is going to begin establishing our prayer/icon corner in our apartment. Besides Icons, I know many people have the Bible and one or more prayer books present. I wanted to ask what specific Bible and what prayer book(s) are common in Ruthenian Byzantine homes? I read that some use the Orthodox Study Bible but have seen others dissuade people from using that. Is there an Eastern Catholic translation of the Bible?

You might try the Byzantine Catholic Seminary in Pittsburgh.

Thank you Bob. I checked out all of these. The Seminary looks like a fantastic place to shop (especially since it will help support the seminarians).

There is also a store I ran across in NE PA--Holoviak's. You might Google that name.

@Theophan

The book you mentioned, "Byzantine Catholic Prayer For The Home", how big is it? I saw the reviews on Amazon that noted insanely tiny print. Are those accurate? I have been using the PDF version of BCPFTH until I can get a copy of the Publican's Prayer Book and I am wondering if Byzantine Catholic Prayer For The Home in a tangible format would be worth purchasing?
