Hello,
I wanted to make a quick thread introducing myself. My name is Francis and I am a Roman Catholic discerning the Ruthenian Byzantine tradition. My wife and our five children have been attending the Divine Liturgy for about 6 months now. Originally we were attending at St. Basil's in Irving, TX, though we have since moved and are now members at a small church in Michigan. My hope is to gain a greater appreciation and understanding of the Liturgy here as well as Eastern devotions and prayer. Please be patient with me as I stumble around in an effort to grow.

Francis, welcome to the Forum. My name is Dan. I joined this forum a couple years ago but haven't logged in for quite awhile. Been very busy with work etc. I've been attending the Ruthenian Catholic Divine Liturgy myself since I rediscovered it about 14 years later in 2022. (Used to attend the Liturgy and altar serve as a kid for almost 3 years before returning to the Roman Church.)
I hope you and your family are doing good, this Forum is great for asking anything about the Eastern Rites.
