We were blessed to have the highest number of participants and Communicants than ever before in my fourth year in the Holy Diaconate.
My Chalice was reduced to tiny particles by the time that I Communed my Reader-tonsured severs.
Agape Vespers (in which the Gospel is read in as many languages as possible) on Easter morning was a surprisingly well attended service. Again, in years gone by there might have been two dozen or so; this year the attendance pushed 60. And instead of the usual six languages (Greek, English, French, Spanish, Latin, and German) we reached a new level by adding Romanian, Japanese, and Turkish. Two of those readers were Catechumens....the 14 year old who read German will be Baptized Turday afternoon.
Glory to God for all things!
