First of all, I think the most offending post was made by the moderator (oops! small m. We are to judge/discern behavior, not resort to name-calling. Since Fr.Deacon has the Divine "right" to name-call, I then have the same Diving "right" to state that everyone on this particular topic demonstrated their own arrogance and cynicism.
VladCatholic's mistake was in stating which Vlad Tepes was dubbed the Catholic Warrior. It was NOT Vlad III, it was Vlad II. The II belonged to an order sworn to defend Catholicism, not the impaler. That was his mistake, so lighten up!
Good job, you all displayed the Holy Spirit working through you this Christmas Season by butchering a fellow believer !
No wonder most American Christians aren't aware of Eastern Christianity...doesn't look like we have much to offer.

OK Vlad Catholic made an error in facts on this particular topic - but it cann't be disputed that he has a habit of 'posting and running'
I'ts very difficult to discuss a topic with the origional poster when he appears but very rarely.
On a topic of over 2 pages VladC posted his original stament and then 2 responses on the first page - none since.
He was obviously not really interested in debate/discussion

And in addressing VladCatholic's "posting and running", has it occurred to anyone that a lot of people have lived a life of never being encouraged to ask questions and/or to offer their own opinions? This might be someone who has gotten emotionally "beat up" for saying anything. This forum may be the only way people feeling like this have a chance to ask or offer. People may want only to see what kind of responses are offered.
