Christ is Risen!
Indeed He is Risen!

I'm searching for a photo of the interior of the former Lady of Mercy Melkite Church in Shenandoah, PA. I've written to Bishop Samra, as well as to a former parishioner of the church. Both Bishop Samra and the former parishioner were unable to help me. I'm hoping someone on here would have a photo or know someone who has a photo that they would be willing to let me copy. My family attended the church prior to its closing in the early 1980's, I was only around ten years old when the church closed, but I have many fond memories of the parish (especially attending Christmas Eve Liturgy) and its late pastor, Father Lawrence Karam. If anyone could help me out,I would be most grateful.

Wishing everyone a blessed season of the Resurrection.

It certainly is unfortunate when a Church is forced to close, especially one that is so young.

Hows Scrantons other Greek Catholic and Orthodox population, thriving or in decline?

Are those Polish National Catholics still running around the area?
