The Great Lenten Prayer of St Ephraim:

O Lord and Master of my life, take from me the spirit of sloth, despondency, lust for power and idle talk.
(Prostration)

But grant unto me, Thy servant, a spirit of chastity, humility, patience and love.

Yea, O Lord and King, grant me to see mine own faults and not to judge my brothers and sisters. For blessed art Thou unto ages of ages. Amen.
(Prostration)

O God, cleanse Thou me a sinner (12 times, with as many bows, and then again the whole prayer from the beginning throughout, and after that one great prostration)

What are some of the devotions you use during the great fast?

The one you have just posted is my favorite.

Monk, I am truly blessed in that between all the various services Vespers, PreSanctified Liturgy, The Akathist Hymn, The Great Canon, and Divine Liturgy, there were only three days during the last Great Fast without additional services...how that will play out with this year's calendar, I do not know.

As a cantor, though, the increased devotions are usually swallowed in the increased practicing, though the Prayer of St. Ephraim is added.
