I commend the new bishop on his wonderful taste in vestments, but what the heck is the other bishop wearing? I noticed that Bishop Jan is also using tall trikiridikirions and standing on and orletz. GOOD FOR HIM. (I can even live without the beard) out with the old, in with the older (style that is). It is good to see others moving in the same direction.

ilya You mean on his Mitra?? It looks like a bad rendering of the Latin "Dove as Holy Spirit" Terrible!

Bishop John's Omophorion is clearly the sort that unwinds into one long piece - you can see that in the pictures where his back is visible!
MANY YEARS TO HIM!
Those vestments are stunning. The other bishops vestments on the other hand.... ick.
