One of the vessels that the Lord used to "lure" me back to my heritage of Eastern Christendom was Frederica Mathewes-Green. She has been such a blessing to me personally in a spiritual manner, and to my wife, in introducing her to Eastern ways.

I came across this article online from a Touchstone Journal publication. It is actually an excerpt from her book "The Illumined Heart: The Ancient Christian Path of Transformation". The article is entitled "Both Door & Path". This article is so good, it would be a sin not to share this with everyone.

Volodymyr, she recently also wrote a nice article in First Things.

As usual, our Orthodox sister does a magnificent job of cutting to the chase and presenting that which really needs to be said.

I am the first who needs to learn how to repent. May God have mercy upon me and lead me to such knowledge.
