Dear Hieromonk, I understand your your being uncomfortable with names but its extremely frustrating to folks like Jim and the rest of us who see a man who didn't pay any attention to what was said at the Bishop's Conference. All its going to take is one of those boys in the provocative photos to be offered a large sum of money to tell his story.I don't think we are going to like the tale. Its now rumored Parma might be bankrupted with the possible new rounds of lawsuits. Our poor new Bishop has to deal with that kind of crap the first thing as he takes over and both problems can be laid at one man's feet.Maybe Jim should contact Former Gov. Frank Keating or Fox News or CNN and give them this story. Maybe they will title it "A Bishop who didn't learn anything from the recent scandals".This Priest needs to be pulled BEFORE he costs Passaic an arm & leg.In order to protect the Church the Met. & the other 2 Bishops should intervene. No one has the to make a "mess" of things then retire.Church leadership needs to be held accountable. That's he's gonna be here for a little while longer.... mark Friends, Kyr ANDREW is not 75 yet. He is required to present his resignation on his 75th birthday. Perhaps the rumor is that Rome will not accept his resignation. I don't see how they could accept it before it is presented. Bob

Hi Folks, Since Elias has some reponsibility for this forums contents I can understand his concern. I am thankful Elias has been nice enough not to have edited anything yet, especialy some of the things I've said ;-). I have to say that EVERYONES comments have been very encouraging and helpful. It's nice to know that I am not alone in my crusade against evil even though sometimes I get tired of fighting :-(. The most amazing thing to me so far is the total "blind" faith alot of people will have in someone just because of the title "priest". It's scarry someone can have that kind of power :-(.
I know things will work out, I just need some time to put the pieces together....seems like giving up my Catholic faith is not an option. God will provide the answers.

Dera Friend,
Giving up the faith is never an option.
Nor is giving in to the ever present temptation to paint all priests with the same brush etc.
Ultimately, we are invited by Christ not to judge anyone.
Vengeance is God's. But then there is the matter of the responsibility of the Bishops.
