Let's pray that this can come to a conclusion successfully and that no last minute problems will occur.

Is (an English translation of) the draft text of the "Act of Restoration of Canonical Unity" available somewhere? I'd be very curious to see what the text says exactly. Thanks.

Peace,
Alex

Dear Alex,

I do not think they have published the finalized text as of yet. I think it is in the final revisions and then has to be brought before the respective synods and approved. If that is the case it will not be availavle until after mid-September.

Alex,

I am sure as soon as it is published, it will be definitely posted here in both text form and link.

I have some friends involved in ROCOR. One of the more hilarious things I heard about their recent Synod in San Francisco is that individuals comprising the "anti-union" element at the Synod were referring to the "pro-union" people as "Uniates" !
