That might have been a misleading name for a topic, but here's my problem. I have two fine Ukrainian Catholic parishes, each within about a 30 minute drive of me (yeah, I've been told already that I'm blessed...and spoiled biggrin ). Each has given me a warm welcome and the people there have gone out of their way to make me feel at home.

I think I'm coming to discern which one I'll will attempt to put down roots at and make my home parish. Yet, because of my work schedule and location it would be easier for me to attend several daily liturgies during the week at the other parish. It's very important for me to be able to attend at least one or two liturgies during the week. Otherwise, I get really sucked into the secular world.

I'm pretty certain I'd like to join the first parish and make it my home. Is it, though, acceptable to continue attending the daily services at said second parish? I would, of course, give to it finicially.

Thanks!

No one would care which church you went to. Those are your choices. The Church is not restricted to your parish Church, so go where you will. You have already indicated you will support one as your parish financially. The bishop will get his hands on your $$$ which ever way you go. wink Happy Church attendance and say one for the rest of us.

Belong to one parish, and catch Liturgy and other services whenever you can, wherever you can, as often as you can. No problem!

I don't think anyone would be offended that you go to services more than once a week!

You're lucky to have options.

Nick

Thanks guys,

The Ukrainian Liturgies I've attended are smaller and more personal than the Latin Masses, I'm used to, so I knew I just couldn't blend in and not be noticed. I didn't think it would be a problem but wanted to make sure.
