Thanks for complementing the music at V&O's. My bet is that probably you were referring to the "Prometheus" choir - the "main" parish choir that has been around since the parish's founding in '68. We also have two more: (1) "Krylos" which is most active during the Great Fast and Holy Week

and (2) a new choir of mostly recent immigrants from Ukraine.
Dear All:
Regarding the bishop situation, I think ukipatr meant that we are anxiously awaiting the installation of our new bishop as there are, unfortunately, certain issues in the Chicago eparchy that need to be addressed rather quickly.
As for the almost exclusive use of Ukrainian, this is not an issue in our parish for now as the vast majority of our parishioners and attendees speak the lanaguage. However, we have been known to prepare English texts for visitors upon request. Of course, those familiar with the Byzantine Rite should know what's going on anyway.
