Blest Feast of the Annunciation!
Thank you all for your comments!
I barely opened my mouth on the subject with my ECC Fr Deacon when he said to bring the blest oils in to burn in our lamps. I also checked which my canon law teacher at the chancery to make sure I wasn't suggesting anything with which he saw any concern.
After the dust of Pascha settles I am going to bring it up with my Latin parish Liturgy Coordinator and priest. I'm not hugely optimistic, but with your prayers perhaps an opening might occur.
I very much love the Chrism Mass in part because it does include the renewal of vows for our clergy, which as several of you mentioned is the reason it is moved, to not conflict with the parish liturgies on Holy Thursday.
Sadly none of our parish candidates or catecheumens came to the Chrism Mass this year but one of the folks who was received into the Church a couple of months ago was my partner bringing our parish oils and volunteered with the arrangements at the Cathedral. The Chrism Mass is one of the best kept secrets of the Church, as are ordinations, which I also try to publicize and encourage people to attend.
(Re the other topic mentioned here my Latin church has no sacrarium
